Weapon Damage Dice Don't Matter

For the most part, a weapon's damage dice won't matter. The difference between each dice size (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12) is 1 damage per step.

The Dueling Fighting Style effectively increases a weapon's damage dice by two sizes (e.g. a d4 is effectively a d8 when considering average damage).
